Two thousand years ago, a man got into a bathtub somewhere in ancient Greece, troubled with a challenge his King had presented him with. He was to find a way to make out real from fake gold. While mulling over the problem, he was suddenly struck with an idea. He jumped out of the bathtub and ran out on to the streets, stark naked, yelling 'Eureka! Eureka!'. And as they say, the rest is history.
'Eureka' has ever since been associated with the thrill of discovery, the pleasure of finding things out. We at IIT Kanpur, want to foster this very spirit of innovation. We believe that the best way to do this is to provide a platform for our young thinkers to announce their ideas to the world. With this aim, Techkriti 2010 presents Eureka-The Paper Presentation Contest.
So fellow thinkers, come and be a part of this great exercise in the power of the human mind! Keep watching this space for more info on the Whens and Hows of the event for this could be your chance to reveal to the world the genius inside you
P.S: Unlike our dear friend from 200 B.C, we expect our participants to come fully clothed, for their own good of course. There would be no exceptions to this rule ;)

A very significant competition without the frills but certainly has the substance. May go on to produce the some cutting edge technology coming from unexpected quarters. The past 2 years saw the emergence of certain strange fluids on the scientific scene. May the event reach its zenith under the two very able and visionary coordinators, the right men on the right front (the couple is the best techkriti can get). So gear up all the partcipants 'coz Eureka ain't only going to get more mind-boggling but even more mean,snazzy and GLAMOROUS!!!
ReplyDelete@manish...let me put it this way...as far as we feel every ground breaking contribution sprouts from humble beginning...and you are not just a 'probable' but a definite entry and just a warning for other contestants he disguises himself well in humility...so Beware!!!!
